1920s Stone Building ExteriorHistory

The original Richardsonian Romanesque Main Library was designed by Van Brunt and Howe. Construction began in 1889 and the library opened in 1902. The new glass addition opened in November 2009. It was designed by William Rawn Associates, while the stone building was renovated by Ann Beha and Associates.
