The GoPro Hero 8 Black is an "action camera," a digital video camera designed for recording action while being immersed in it. For example, for recording skiing while you are skiing, or scuba diving while you are scuba diving, or being a dog while being a dog. They are rugged, compact, waterproof to some degree, and attach well to myriad accessories for recording in all kinds of situations.
